An unexpected experience with Vietnam Airlines

_A normal flight between Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City_

Flight no VN780

Vietnam Airlines Airbus 350-900 XWB, registers VN-A897

Welcome to Melbourne Tullamarine! Today, I am going to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City with the national airlines Vietnam Airlines.

Check-in and custom went very well. However, my flight departed late due to late-arrival from Ho Chi Minh city. But it doesn’t matter because I will be flying in Premium Economy. Our aircraft today is a 5 years old Airbus 350-941 XWB registers VN-A897. Did you know that this airplane is the only one in the entire world with Skyteam Livery?. Therefore, it makes my trip more special.

Today, I am seated in seat 14A, which is a window seat at the back of the Premium Economy Class. On the seat, there is a soft pillow, a blanket, and comfy slippers for Business Class. They also give me an amenity kit and headphones for this 8-hour flight, which is pretty cool.

The cabin crew offers a refreshing drink and warm towels, which is greatly appreciated. Everything has been going smoothly and I feel very comfortable, like I'm at home. They serve snacks after take-off, before our lunch, which is our first meal.

Don't worry, I just wanted to mention that premium economy class seats also have a power adapter and a type B USB for charging electronic devices. I took advantage of the entertainment system and had a 4-hour relaxing time.

During the flight, the crew regularly checked passengers and asked active individuals like myself if we needed anything. I requested a mid-flight snack and was served instant noodles.

1.5 hours before landing, they served the second meal. I chose stir-fry noodles, which came on a tray like the first meal (without salads). The meal was really tasty, and I definitely recommend it if you get the chance.

The crew on Vietnam Airlines was friendly, kind, and helpful. The services were impressive, with excellent quality that met the standards of a 5-star airline. I would rate my trip 9.6 out of 10.
